Summary:
Seeking a skilled professional well-versed in Python, for a role focused on automation development, data sourcing for dashboards, and reporting. This position involves designing, testing, implementing, and supporting BI processes, as well as overseeing development tasks performed by offshore teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design and development support for automation and data sourcing
- Analyze requirements and create technical designs and specifications
- Develop, test, implement, and support BI process application code
- Create documentation, technical procedures, and user guides
- Provide guidance to junior staff and oversee offshore team development
- Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and change/incident management processes
- Foster positive relationships with team members, leads, and business partners
- Participate in design reviews, code merge, and branching processes
- Oversee systems testing and application migration to production
Must Haves:
- 8+ years in ETL pipeline, application development, Power BI, and Tableau
- 5+ years with Linux, Autosys (or similar), and SQL
- 10+ years of SDLC experience
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all management levels
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years in data warehouse/Data Mart environments and with large databases like Teradata
- 5+ years tech lead experience
- Experience with metadata tools, project management, and willingness to work non-standard hours and with offshore teams
