Title: Insurance and Risk Management Specialist
Location: Remote
Duration:5-months with potential to extend (pending acquisition)

Job Description:
The Insurance & Risk Management Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration of Frontier's insurance and risk management programs. This role involves coordination with internal stakeholders, external brokers, and insurers to ensure compliance with contractual insurance requirements, proper issuance of certificates, and efficient policy administration. This position also contributes to minimizing company risk through thorough review of insurance-related contract terms and supports ongoing management of insurance and surety programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Certificate & Insurance Documentation Management
- Manage the issuance of certificates of insurance (COIs) and auto ID cards.
- Collaborate with Frontier colleagues and external insurance broker (Client) to ensure timely and accurate issuance of insurance documentation.
- Address internal and external inquiries related to insurance certificates and auto ID cards.
- Contract Review & Risk Analysis
- Review insurance requirements within contracts, agreements, and RFPs to ensure compliance with risk management standards.
- Identify areas of risk and recommend best practice approaches to contract insurance language and risk transfer.
- Commercial Insurance Program Administration
- Support administration of Frontier's commercial insurance policies including casualty, property, and management liability programs.
- Collect and validate underwriting data and prepare insurance applications.
- Develop presentation materials for underwriters and participate in broker and carrier meetings.
- Track and ensure receipt of binders, policies, endorsements, and quotes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate policy audits and verify data accuracy.
- Systems & Property Oversight
- Maintain and update the third-party Risk Management Information System (RMIS) for property Statement of Values (SOV).
- Manage and coordinate property carrier site inspections as required.
- Surety Bond Program
- Oversee and support the administration of the surety bond program in coordination with internal teams and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in insurance, risk management, or related field
- Knowledge of commercial insurance policies and certificate management
- Experience working with brokers and insurance carriers
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with RMIS systems a plus
