Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Architect with an active CCIE certification to support a large-scale enterprise infrastructure modernization initiative. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in on-premise network environments, data center consolidation, and security hardening. This position requires a strategic thinker who can assess the current network state, partner with vendors, and drive the design of a next-generation enterprise network architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the assessment and documentation of the current state of enterprise network and data center infrastructure.
- Design and propose next-generation network architecture to align with business and security needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to define and implement future-state network solutions.
- Develop architectural diagrams, documentation, and multi-phase implementation roadmaps.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise across cross-functional teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7 10+ years of experience in network architecture and engineering.
- Proven experience in designing and managing complex enterprise WAN/LAN environments across multiple sites.
- Deep expertise in network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP.
- Hands-on experience in network security principles, best practices, and Zero Trust Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of data center technologies and modernization best practices.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Active CCIE Certification (Required) Must include CCIE # in submission.
- Preferred certifications: CCDE, PCNSE, ACDX.
- Familiarity with cloud networking and Cisco Unified Communications (CUCM) is a plus.
