Job Description:
Apex Systems is hiring TWO Control-M Engineers for a major Healthcare company.

FULLY REMOTE anywhere in the U.S.
Position Purpose:
Designs, analyzes, develops, modifies, installs, tests and maintains systems software and hardware. Assists with vendor evaluations, modifies and/or debugs vendor-supplied utilities and packages, and prepares technical documentation for telecommunications, network, and system software applications.
Education/Experience:
A Bachelors degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires 2 - 4 years of related experience.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
Technical Skills:
One or more of the following skills are desired -
Knowledge of Cyber Security
Experience with Other: PowerShell and Endpoint Engineering
Knowledge of Other: Audio Visual production equipment, i.e. Cameras, Video Switchers, Audio Mixers, Encoders (Codecs) Wireless Microphones, Stage Lighting, Zoom, Teams
Knowledge of Other: PanTiltZoom and manned cameras
Soft Skills:
Intermediate - Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty
Intermediate - Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Intermediate - Ability to work independently
License/Certification:
CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional preferred
Story Behind the Need:
Enterprise Scheduling Team is responsible for the infrastructure and health of the workload automation and file transfer applications.
We work remotely, heavily communicating in Teams via meetings and chat.
We work via Service Now tickets and Jira.
Typical Day in the Role:
Work with application team to educate and advise them on Best practices with Control-M.
During daily scrum meetings we discuss jira cards, blockers and completed work.
Must be proficient in Control-M, knowledge of Automic is helpful and file transfer protocols.
Applications we support are Control-M, Automic and Globalscape.
We utilize Splunk and Dynatrace for alerts and troubleshooting.
Must be able to perform light scripting such as Python, SQL.
Agent installs, integration with Service Now, troubleshooting skills.
Years of experience required: 5+ years minimum
