Job Title: Senior Information Security Engineer
About the Role: on the lookout for a seasoned Information Security Engineer to undertake intricate technical analysis and bolster mainframe security within a vast, multifaceted Multi-LPAR RACF setting. This role involves leveraging RRSF (RACF Remote Sharing Facility), zSecure, RACF/DB2, and CICS.
What You'll Do:
- Provide expert-level support and risk assessment for mainframe security.
- Manage RACF in a multi-LPAR environment, ensuring robust security measures.
- Utilize zSecure, RACF/DB2, and CICS to maintain and enhance security protocols.
What We Need From You:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Information Security Engineering.
- Proven track record in mainframe security risk assessment and remediation.
- Extensive knowledge of RACF, particularly versions z/OS 2.1 and above.
- Proficiency in using native z/OS and RACF security tools.
- Experience in issuing RACF commands and conducting diagnostic procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 5 years' experience with JCL (Job Control Language).
- Familiarity with TSO (Time Sharing Option).
- Experience with the zSecure tool.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Nice to Have:
- REXX Coding knowledge.
