Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Engineer (14+ Years Experience)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Engineer with 14+ years of IT industry experience, including extensive hands-on expertise in ServiceNow platform development, administration, integrations, and enterprise implementations. The ideal candidate will be a thought leader who can architect, design, and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions while ensuring alignment with business objectives and ITIL best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, configuration, customization, and development of the ServiceNow platform across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, and other modules.
- Architect and deliver end-to-end ServiceNow implementations for large enterprises, ensuring performance, scalability, and compliance.
- Develop custom applications, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations with third-party tools and systems.
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring to junior developers and administrators.
- Drive ServiceNow upgrades, migrations, and patch management with minimal disruption.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ensure adherence to governance, ITIL, and security frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP, CJIS-like compliance as required).
- Develop and enforce best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization for ServiceNow solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide advanced production support, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
- Act as a ServiceNow Subject Matter Expert (SME) during strategy, roadmap, and solution design discussions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 14+ years of IT experience, with 10+ years hands-on ServiceNow engineering and architecture experience.
- Strong expertise in ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Catalog, Incident/Problem/Change, Knowledge, and Reporting.
- Experience with advanced modules like HRSD, CSM, GRC, SecOps, ITBM, FSM (preferred).
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Jelly, AngularJS, REST/SOAP integrations, and MID Server.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations (e.g., AWS, Azure, Active Directory, monitoring tools, CI/CD pipelines).
- Deep understanding of ITIL framework and process automation.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow performance tuning, platform upgrades, and instance management.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) required.
- Advanced certifications such as ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Technical Architect (CTA), or ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) highly preferred.
