Baer is looking for a Senior WatsonX Engineer for 4 weeks Federal Remote Project.

Description:
- Serve as the primary technical contact between development teams and the AI implementation team.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and gather detailed technical requirements.
- Design and implement secure connectivity between mainframe systems and the IBM watsonx platform.
- Configure data extraction processes from legacy code repositories without impacting production systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand legacy system architecture and design.
- Identify and document system dependencies, integration points, and data transformation logic.
- Provide technical guidance to WatsonX Engineers for AI model tuning and system integration logic.
- Support WatsonX Engineers in mapping and documenting interdependencies across integrated systems.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with IBM WatsonX and AI code assistants.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java.
- Experience using Git/GitHub or similar code management tools.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and natural language processing.
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions across multiple teams.
