DataStaff, Inc is currently seeking a Business System Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity for one of our direct clients in Richmond, VA
*This position is hybrid, 3 days per week will be onsite
Job Description:
Our client seeks a Business Systems Analyst to work on an inhouse software development project for the Division of Securities and Retail Franchising. This position will be responsible for eliciting functional requirements for the division s new SERFIS software system that will replace the existing system with a comprehensive work management system
Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and as a team
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.

Required Skills:

  • 5 Years - Elicit functional and technical requirements based off business requirements and interviews/meetings with business system users
  • 5 Years - Manage and track requirements in Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • 5 Years - Create wire frames
  • 5 Years - Work with QA to review test cases
  • 5 Years - Experience and proficiency with Microsoft, Visio, SharePoint and Office applications
