Merchandise Marketing Integration Coordinator
Location: Kissimmee, FL (Onsite Mon-Thu; Remote on Fridays)
Type: 8-month contract (estimated start: first week of 2026)
Pay: $23-$27/hour (W2)
About the Role
Russell Tobin is partnering with a leading global entertainment & retail brand to hire a Merchandise Marketing Integration Coordinator. You ll be the operational hub for merchandise marketing: coordinating product samples, tracking priorities, supporting social and content needs, and aligning cross-functional partners so campaigns land on time and on brand.
What You ll Do
- Own sample operations: Manage procurement and delivery of merchandise samples to partners (PR, Site Marketing, Synergy, etc.); support product showcase room set-ups as needed.
- Maintain the sample tracker to ensure prioritized products are ready for photo shoots, influencer activations, unboxings, media events, and short-form video content.
- Compile and distribute weekly social media recaps.
- Surface key initiatives: Help identify and communicate Owned & Operated (O&O) merchandise big bets and marketing beats with marketing and commercialization partners.
- Partner with merchandising teams to flag categories that need marketing beats to drive revenue.
- Keep a photo library for marketing integration images and assets.
- Clear cross-category program names for marketing purposes.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support bi-weekly O&O Merchandise Marketing Communications meetings to align messaging across PR, site marketing, commerce marketing, and synergy partners; identify opportunities and whitespace.
- Collaborate with the Merchandise Manager to elevate seasonal product opportunities and optimize sell-through to avoid inventory liability.
- Contribute to messaging for Owned & Operated activations.
- Create decks, briefs, recaps, and collect inputs for key milestone meetings.
- Pitch in on ad-hoc merchandising projects and continuously monitor the competitive landscape to inform product positioning and prioritization.
Must-Haves
- 2+ years in merchandising, product development, retail, visual merchandising, or related work.
- Exceptional organization & time management; able to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High accuracy and attention to detail with strong follow-through.
- Clear, professional communication (written & verbal) including vendor and partner interactions (professional phone etiquette required).
- Critical thinker with initiative, sound judgment, and a can-do attitude; comfortable asking questions and making independent decisions within scope.
- Team player with proven ability to build rapport and navigate conflict tactfully.
- Business acumen and urgency to meet deliverables.
- Tech skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel (tracking), PowerPoint (build decks), Outlook, Word; calendar/scheduling fluency.
- Ability to work onsite in Kissimmee, FL Mon-Thu and remote on Fridays.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SAP or similar enterprise systems.
- Background in entertainment, consumer products, or e-commerce environments.
Education
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Bachelor s degree in Merchandising, Marketing, or related field
