This is 100% onsite in Cincinatti, OH
Our leading client is looking to hire a dynamic ETL developer to join their enterprise data team.
MUST HAVE SKILLS
- 3+ years of proven experience with IBM DataStage
- Experience working with both server and parallel jobs within DataStage
- Strong SQL skills and experience with AQT
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
- Experience with Business Objects
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $45-$55/ hr. w2

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows to extract data from various sources, transform it according to business rules, and load it into target systems (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes).
- Help implement new projects and maintain effective awareness of all production activities according to required standards and provide support to all existing applications.
- Maintain documentation of ETL processes, data flows, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and integrity.
- Perform root cause analysis to help resolve production issues.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years of proven experience with IBM DataStage.
- Experience working with both server and parallel jobs within DataStage.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with AQT.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python or Shell for automation and data manipulation.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data integration best practices.
- Strong proficiency with database technologies such as Oracle, DB2, SQL, and variation among popular databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Business Objects. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. General knowledge in the Wealth and Asset Management industry.
