Power Automate Developer
A highly skilled Power Automate Developer is sought to lead the modernization and migration of existing RPA workflows from UIPath into the Microsoft Power Platform, with a primary focus on Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop). This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing automation solutions that enhance process efficiency and align with Microsoft ecosystem best practices. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in workflow automation, integration, and process analysis within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing UIPath workflows to identify dependencies, assess feasibility, and develop comprehensive migration plans to Power Automate.
- Rebuild, enhance, and optimize automation processes utilizing Power Automate Cloud and Power Automate Desktop.
- Convert UIPath logic, selectors, data manipulations, and integrations into Power Platform components.
- Develop custom connectors, triggers, and actions to facilitate migrated workflows.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand current processes and define automation opportunities for improved efficiency.
- Integrate workflows with Microsoft 365 services such as SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and PowerApps, as well as Azure services, APIs, and third-party systems.
- Manage data sources including SQL, Excel, SharePoint Lists, and Dataverse, ensuring secure handling of credentials and access controls.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for automated workflows.
- Document solutions, support deployment activities, and provide post-migration stabilization.
- Adhere to RPA governance, coding standards, and compliance frameworks; work closely with UIPath developers, business analysts, and IT teams to ensure seamless migration and adoption.
Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop).
- Strong understanding of the Power Platform, including Power Apps and Dataverse.
- Experience working with UIPath or comparable RPA tools.
- Proficiency with REST APIs, JSON, SharePoint, SQL, and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Ability to design scalable automation architectures and reusable components.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Azure DevOps or Git and ALM processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration capabilities.
- Ability to translate complex business processes into effective technical workflows.
- Knowledge of secure configuration practices, compliance standards, and data security protocols.
Publishing Pay Range: $50.00 - $58.00 Hourly
