Production Coordinator

Production Coordinator (Social Media Content)
We're seeking a Production Coordinator to join a Creative Team focused on managing social media content across multiple platforms. This role supports production efforts for hundreds of content projects from conception to execution and evaluation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. They should have experience working with creative teams, varied media formats, editors, and animators, and possess strong communication skills and technical understanding of social platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support all elements of production including pre-production, production, and post-production
• Assist with services agreements, purchase orders, licensing, and releases
• Track project estimates and expenses
• Help manage editorial calendars and ensure data accuracy
• Review and update budgets and production schedules, providing recommendations
• Maintain team resources and documentation
• Coordinate workflows with freelancers
• Support transcription and translation services
• Manage logistics for equipment and media
• Track equipment inventory and rentals
• Handle media management and archiving
• Conduct QA of final deliverables
• Publish content across social platforms
• Support media and community operations workflows

Requirements

• 4+ years of production experience
• Experience coordinating editorial video assets for social media
• Familiarity with multiple content formats: documentaries, short-form, narrative, and branded social
• Knowledge of licensing and legal agreements
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
• Experience working with external creative and production partners
• Strong relationship-building skills across teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-starting environment
• Understanding of editorial standards
• Capable of producing high-quality content with limited resources
• Familiarity with social platforms, creative tools, publishing, and project management software

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.
