This is a high-visibility, customer-facing role requiring white-glove service and advanced technical support across both Mac and Windows environments. About the Role
We're hiring a Helpdesk Engineer to support a global biotech company specializing in live organ donor transport. This is a high-visibility, customer-facing role requiring white-glove service and advanced technical support across both Mac and Windows environments. You'll be part of a critical team ensuring smooth IT operations for a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-user support via calls, emails, and walk-ups
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues
- Build and deploy new system images
- Manage incidents and update/close tickets using ITSM platforms
- Handle configuration issues, reinstall software/drivers/add-ins
- Perform general IT support tasks on-site
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of helpdesk experience
- Strong customer service and white-glove support skills
- Advanced troubleshooting in Mac and Windows environments
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting - must be able to use scripts to push updates and automate tasks
- Proficiency in:
- Active Directory (group creation, app assignment)
- Office 365 (admin-level knowledge)
- OKTA, JAMF, MDM, Apple Business Manager, Intune, Azure, Microsoft Entra ID
- Familiarity with AWS and ITSM ticketing systems
Nice to Have
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar platforms
Additional Details
- Daytime schedule only - no night shifts
- Parking is covered if applicable
- Weekend work required
- 1-2 round interview process
