Description:
This Database Architect position will function as database developer/architect supporting multiple software applications for the client Office of Professional Medical Conduct.
Day to day tasks include:
Tasks may include but are not limited to the following:
Analysis and design of database objects and data collection systems, including the transformation of legislative requirements into system functionality
Data modelling
Software development tasks including Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL Server coding, testing, and implementation
Troubleshooting issues in the application to find solutions
Preparation of technical and user documentation.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Expert 84+ Months
Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
Secondary Qualifications:
84 Months of experience in interpreting physical database models and experience with relational database concepts such as indexes, primary and foreign keys, and constraints using both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
84 Months of experience developing using Oracle PL/SQL, including database packages, procedures, functions and triggers.
84 Months of experience in working with Oracle version 11g or later.
84 Months of experience in using Oracle programming tools (SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader or other Oracle database programming tools).
60 Months of experience developing using Microsoft TransactSQL (T-SQL)
60 Months of experience in designing relational databases.
24 Months of experience in integrating multiple database schemas.
18 Months of experience in using
Git
Ideal candidate will possess public sector and Health and Human Services experience.
Candidate must possess the mandatory qualifications. The Ideal candidate will also possess all of the desirable qualifications.
