Data Warehouse Engineer / Analyst

Location: Lehi, UT - On-site

About:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Warehouse Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data warehouse solutions to support our business reporting and analytics needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing, SQL analysis, and business reporting, with experience in the healthcare industry preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop data warehouse solutions to integrate and organize data from various sources, including external data sets related to healthcare operations such as doctor notes, appointments, and billing data. Making sense of raw data and making useful.
  • Optimize SQL queries and processes to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into the data warehouse efficiently.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions.
  • Route reports to visualization tools like PowerBI for dashboarding and data visualization purposes.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency within the data warehouse environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in data warehousing and business intelligence.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM, Mathematics, or related field
  • 2 years of experience working in data warehousing, SQL analysis, and business reporting.
  • Proficiency in SQL, with experience working with SQL Server databases.
  • Experience with ETL processes, including tools like SSIS and Power Automate
  • Experience in the healthcare industry or familiarity with healthcare data sets is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sense of raw data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Capacity for learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
