Job Description
We are hiring a Senior Application Engineering Manager to lead a high-impact engineering team within a global Adhesive Technologies organization. This role supports top-tier consumer electronics customers and focuses on advanced adhesive materials, process development, and lab innovation.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical depth, people management, and customer-facing engineering.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of application engineers and scientists
Support key consumer electronics accounts with adhesive materials and process solutions
Drive development of new adhesives, films, and tape technologies
Own CapEx planning and continuous improvement of lab capabilities
Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and customer quality standards
Mentor engineers and support long-term career growth
Collaborate with R&D, operations, and commercial teams
Apply agile methodologies to adapt to changing customer requirements
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor s degree in Engineering or Science
10+ years experience with adhesives, films, or tapes used in consumer electronics
5+ years people management experience leading teams of 5+ engineers or scientists
Strong background in application engineering and customer-facing roles
Experience with FEA, flow modeling, CAD tools, and lab automation
Proven ability to lead in fast-paced, customer-driven environments
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary $150,000 to $185,000
