Aloha! One of Hawaii's local grocery retailers is seeking an IT Field Technician. This position will provide excellent customer service and serve as the "face of IT" and primary IT integrator.

Description
Provide excellent customer service remotely or on-site to all of SFOC.
Perform on-site troubleshooting, upgrades, repairs, or replacement for Point-of-Sale, IP camera systems, IT hardware, telecom, and network systems.
Pull and terminate low-voltage cabling as required for projects or repairs.
Perform preventative maintenance of IT systems of stores and remote locations.
Provides on-site IT support to our stores as tasked, and "Tech triages" any IT issues as necessary on our PC workstations, POS Systems, Network infrastructure, IP Cameras, and any other area that falls under the purview of the SFOC IT Department
Performs as the primary integrator of all IT Hardware for store projects such as new store openings, store remodels, hardware refreshes, and others, as directed
Connects with 3rd party contractors/vendors and internal customers to ensure all on-site work is completed and implemented according to direction by management, and to the satisfactory resolution of the customer
Investigates and brings to resolution any on-site issues with store-level network infrastructure, which may include but is not limited to, phone systems, wireless access points, store music, security cameras, and networking hardware
Assists with additional duties as assigned.
Attend and participate in weekly team meetings and 1 on 1 sessions with supervisor.
Perform Windows imaging and deployment based on specified company configurations.
Perform hardware equipment repairs.
Perform software installations, updates, and troubleshooting.
Perform preventive maintenance and scale certification at store locations.
Provide training and guidance to Service Desk.
Documentation creation and upkeep.
Hardware prepping, packing, and shipping.
Assist in E-waste pickups.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Proficient utilizing common power tools and industry-standard network and cable testing tools, techniques, and best practices
Advanced analytical and conceptual skills.
Strong sense of independence, responsibility, urgency, and initiative.
Advanced knowledge and understanding of troubleshooting concepts.
Advanced knowledge and understanding of network infrastructure.
Knowledge of Active Directory.
Knowledge of basic computer/printer hardware and workstation setup.
Knowledge of mobile devices (Pi, Android, IOS, Windows CE).
Knowledge of phone systems (VOIP, PBX, Analog).
Knowledge of IP camera systems (Axis Companion, OpenEye, Exacqvision, Hanwha).
Previous experience in a front-line Retail or Food and Beverage environment, preferred
Previous experience in role that actively used a Help Desk "ticketing system", preferred
Basic understanding of architectural and electrical schematics, preferred
Proficient in using Service Desk ticking system.
Proficient and knowledgeable in the use of low-voltage and common power tools, best practices, and techniques.
Work Environment
In-office
Possibility of exceeding 8 hours/day to ensure job responsibilities are completed; frequent overnight work; being available 24x7 to assist with escalated incidents; neighbor-island travel maybe required at a moment's notice
