Description
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst II to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will act as a vital link between business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver technical solutions that align with organizational goals. You will leverage your expertise in business processes and IT systems to drive automation, enhance efficiency, and support strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business units and IT teams to identify and implement technical solutions that address user needs.
Analyze business operations to uncover opportunities for process automation and improvement.
Support business process redesign efforts and create detailed documentation for technology implementations.
Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for IT teams and manage updates to these specifications.
Facilitate communication and negotiations between business units and IT throughout project lifecycles.
Educate IT teams on business strategies and objectives to ensure alignment in technical solutions.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve competitiveness.
Provide guidance on buy-versus-build decisions related to technology solutions.
Ensure seamless implementation of solutions by coordinating with all relevant stakeholders.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation to support system changes and enhancements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
3-6 years of experience in a technical or business analyst role.
Strong communication skills to effectively liaise between business and IT teams.
Proficiency in creating and managing business requirement documents and functional specifications.
Demonstrated ability to analyze operations and recommend process improvements.
Familiarity with technological trends and their application in delivering competitive business solutions.
Expertise in negotiating agreements and managing stakeholder expectations.
Knowledge of automation processes and tools within business environments.
