Job Title: Analyst ( Entry/Mid/Junior)
Location: Boston, MA
Job Type: W2 contract

Job Description:
As an Analyst at Midwestern IT , you will play a crucial role in analysing business needs, identifying solutions, and optimizing our processes and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement strategies that improve performance and support business goals. Analyse financial performance and prepare reports on trends, forecasts, and variances.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Develop dashboards and financial models to provide strategic insights to management.
Identify financial risks and opportunities and recommend actions.
System Analysis:
Evaluate, maintain, and improve financial systems such as ERP, budgeting tools, and reporting platforms.
Serve as the liaison between finance and IT teams to ensure system needs are met.
Test and implement system upgrades, new modules, or integrations.
Maintain data integrity and troubleshoot discrepancies in financial systems.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to automate and streamline reporting and financial processes.
Document financial system procedures and user guides.
Train staff on financial systems and ensure proper usage.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field (Master's or MBA is a plus)
Experience:
1+ years of experience in financial analysis, system analysis, or a similar role.
Hands-on experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Hyperion, or similar).
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
Knowledge of SQL, data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in ERP implementations or system migration projects.
CPA, CFA, or similar certifications (a plus).
