Job Details

Responsibilities:
Technical & Application Support
  • Act as the escalation point for tier 1 & 2 support (both internal and client-facing).
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex IT and application-related issues.
  • Manage and configure third-party and internally built applications to meet operational needs.
  • Support integrations and automation tools such as Zapier, Monday.com, Pipedrive, and QuickBooks.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining internal dashboards and reporting tools.
System Administration & Security
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights for both internal and external users.
  • Implement and oversee best practices for IT security, compliance, and data protection.
  • Work closely with the Director to assess and improve network and infrastructure security.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify patterns in user issues and collaborate with development teams to enhance application stability, usability, and performance.
  • Contribute to and improve knowledge bases, troubleshooting guides, and FAQs.
  • Be proactive in suggesting and implementing new technologies to improve IT operations.
General IT Support & Operations
  • Provide hands-on IT support for internal teams, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assist with system upgrades, software deployments, and IT project implementations.
  • Work closely with the Director to improve overall IT strategy and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT system administration (Linux), networking, and automation.
  • Strong proficiency in troubleshooting IT network issues.
  • Hands-on experience with docker and networking concepts (i.e., Layer 3, Subnetting, Routing, firewall, VLAN, and NAT).
  • Familiarity with IoT security practices.
  • Understanding of industrial protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and MQTTs.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
  • Skilled in data analysis and reporting using and building Microsoft Excel and Power BI templates.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and API integrations (SORIS & NORIS).
  • Background in industrial automation, smart buildings, and IoT device management.
  • Familiarity with advanced data analysis tools such as Docker, Azure ML, or Apache Spark.
