Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior System Analyst to provide hands-on technical expertise and leadership within a team of systems analysts and administrators. This role serves as an escalation point for complex technical issues and plays a key role in maintaining and improving the reliability of core IT systems and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in Microsoft enterprise environments, end-user support, systems administration, and vendor coordination. This position follows a hybrid work schedule, and local candidates only are eligible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as escalation point for complex hardware, software, and network issues
  • Guide and support systems analysts and administrators in troubleshooting and resolution
  • Act as primary liaison with third-party vendors for advanced issue resolution
  • Support and maintain core IT systems including:
    • Office 365 / Microsoft 365
    • Active Directory (AD DS)
    • Exchange Server
    • Windows Client & Server OS
    • Microsoft Teams (softphones)
    • VPN, RDP
  • Research, recommend, and implement technical solutions to improve system reliability
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides
  • Ensure continuity and stability of enterprise IT services

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years overall IT experience
  • 5+ years in a Microsoft enterprise environment
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Office 365 / Microsoft 365
    • Active Directory (AD DS)
    • Exchange Server
    • Windows Client & Windows Server
    • Desktop deployment
    • VPN, RDP
    • Microsoft Teams
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Group Policy configuration and Windows infrastructure
    • PowerShell scripting and automation
    • TCP/IP fundamentals, DNS, DHCP
  • 3+ years experience with Active Directory upgrades, migrations, or consolidations
  • 2+ years experience with Office 365, including mailbox migrations
  • 1+ year experience with:
    • ADFS or Azure Active Directory
    • SAML 2.0 and cloud-based SSO
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and vendor coordination skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS / EM+S)
  • AWS infrastructure management
  • SharePoint administration/support
  • ITIL or IT Service Management experience
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (Windows Server, O365, Azure)
