We are looking for a Capital Planning Engineer to join our Front-End US Expansion Planning team and help us achieve our financial objectives. You will become a key local partner for Central Operations, Procurement, and Finance to optimize capital requirements and to improve our financial business processes for our new fab in Boise. You will communicate site financial metrics and strategies to all relevant stakeholders, driving accountability and monitoring key performance budget and funding indicators plan over plan.

Responsibilities:
  • Summarize budget implications for tactical and strategic scenarios.
  • Validate capital assumptions and justifications for each budget cycle.
  • Generate, analyze, and review scenarios to support executive-level decision making.
  • Facilitate site capital processes and systems for Monthly Capital, Transfer Requests, and Fiscal Year Savings targets.
  • Report financial issues, risks, changes, and quality concerns to site leadership.
  • Interface with stakeholders to outline resources required and identify actions to close budget gaps.
  • Drive accountability through clear communication, informal feedback, effective project management, and metrics usage.
  • Build trust-based relationships within the team and across organizations, ensuring a safe, compliant, and ethical work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, and/or related experience.
  • 2+ years experience in Production Planning, Capacity Planning, or Finance that clearly demonstrates a detailed knowledge of financial metrics and processes.
  • Familiarity with planning and supply chain concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and provide useful reporting insights using modern tools (excel, python, tableau, power BI, etc...)
  • Willingness to learn and implement AI solutions to improve efficiency
