Jr - Principal Logistician
United States - Multi-site

Summary:
Performs logistics functions to include acquisition, supply chain coordination and communication, integrated logistics support, Client estimating, fabrication, distribution, and transportation. Provides acquisition planning, training program development and implementation, system design/engineering/integration, or test and evaluation in support of government or commercial programs. Procures goods and services to support mission needs. Provides program management support to include project control, project planning, and cost analysis. Performs systems integration and requirements analysis. Undertakes duties to administer, supervise, or perform work involving the planning, directing, or operating of rail, motor, air, or water transportation systems and service, including positions involving responsibility for operation of both transportation service and terminal facilities. Assists with Supervision of staff logisticians and logistics specialists. May participate in oversight of logistics activities for a program or site

Skill Required:
7 years of directly related ICBM experience
3 years of progressive responsibility providing technical leadership
At least 1 year of supervisory experience
Ability to work independently
Knowledge and experience in logistics or supply fields
Ability to work in team-based setting
Strong project management skills
Senior skill set includes ability to perform all stated/implied duties within this tier and those reasonably derived from preceding tier

Education/Certifications - requirements based on position level
BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or related field + 10 years of experience
OR
MS degree + 7 years of experience
OR
PHD + 4 years of experience

PMP or PgMP certified or equivalent as appropriate for level of appointment/profession

Clearance - Secret - TS/SCI based on position
