Job Details
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with manual testing, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for improving the user experience. In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers to test new features, identify defects, and support releases.
Fully Remote. Must be able to work Central timezone.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute manual test plans, test cases, and regression tests for web and/or mobile applications.
- Understand and validate business and functional requirements; ensure product meets expectations.
- Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello).
- Work closely with developers and product teams to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release reviews as part of the Agile development process.
- Assist in maintaining testing documentation, including user guides and release notes.
- Provide feedback on usability, functionality, and quality throughout the product lifecycle.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards.
Qualifications
- 1 3 years of professional experience in software Quality Assurance.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
- Experience writing and executing detailed test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Basic understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum workflows, and version control concepts.
