Job Description

Job Summary:

This position will perform troubleshooting, desktop and remote support for end-users in a large scale client/server environment.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Work on support tickets to repair and troubleshoot issues with desktop /laptops, printers, and mobile phones.

  • Assist onsite employees with their computer and software issues with Windows and Mac.

  • Software installation and basic hardware troubleshooting.

  • Imaging computers and desktop/laptop setup.

  • Document resolution and follow up with trouble tickets.

  • Help manage hardware and software inventory.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Broad knowledge and skill in: Windows client/server technology and OS, Microsoft Office suite, basic networking concepts.

  • Above average skills in: managing tasks, customer service.

  • Excellent skills in: documentation skills, attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team capacity and follow instructions.

  • Good communication skills: written and verbal.

  • Strong team player.

  • Technical aptitude to learn and follow instructions.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to research solutions and work independently on tasks.

  • Prior experience working in IT is highly preferred.

Education:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT/IS or related field.
  • Must be a current university student to qualify as an intern. Alum candidates and students graduating May/June 2026 are not eligible for intern opportunities.

Location:

  • This position will report on-site in Irvine, CA.

Compensation:

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $22/hr - $25/hr
