Job Details
We are seeking an experienced .NET Application Developer to provide advanced-level development, maintenance, and support services for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C#/.NET, SQL Server, and web application architecture, with expertise in accessibility, security, and modern integration standards.
This role involves working on high-impact projects within a mission-driven environment, contributing to the continued improvement of systems that support healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using C#/.NET and MVC frameworks
- Design and develop database structures, stored procedures, and triggers in SQL Server
- Implement and maintain secure, scalable application architectures aligned with IT security best practices
- Utilize JavaScript/jQuery for dynamic web functionality and responsive design
- Work with Azure DevOps for source control, build/release pipelines, and project tracking
- Design and implement system integrations using JSON and XML data transport formats
- Create and manage reports using SSRS
- Ensure web accessibility compliance (WCAG/Section 508) in all front-end development
- Write and interpret technical documentation, including test cases, specifications, and requirements
- Administer and maintain applications in IIS environments
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in C#/.NET application development
- 5+ years of experience in MVC framework
- 8+ years with Visual Studio development environment
- 8+ years of JavaScript/jQuery development experience
- 8+ years of experience with SQL Server development
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Strong understanding of application security, including data encryption and hardening
- 5+ years of experience ensuring compliance with web accessibility standards
- 8+ years of experience with IIS server configurations and management
- 5+ years of experience with SSRS reporting services
- Solid experience in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Nice to Have:
- Experience in healthcare or public sector environments
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid SDLC methodologies
