World Wide Technology Holding Co, LLC. (WWT) has an opportunity available for a Juniper Network Engineer role at Austin, TX.
Position: Juniper Network Engineer
Location: Austin, TX (On-premises most days)
Duration: 6+ Months with high possibility of extensions
Working Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for after-hours incidents
Job Description:
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Juniper Engineer in Austin, TX. This role requires a generalist with extensive Juniper experience, capable of leading enterprise operations, design, and project deployment. You ll work with Juniper and Palo Alto firewalls, driving multiple projects to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects from challenge identification to completion, including design and execution.
  • Provide high-level Juniper enterprise design and implement core switch tasks.
  • Collaborate on firewall policies and zero-trust architecture.
  • Work on network segmentation, expansion, and AWS Direct Connect integration.
  • Prepare and present documentation to executive stakeholders.
  • Experience with biotech lab equipment is desirable.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Experience: Extensive Juniper network engineering experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Juniper and Palo Alto technologies; Cisco background beneficial.
  • Certifications: JNCIA-Junos, JNCIS, JNCIP; JNCIE is a plus.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to lead projects.
  • Communication: Strong documentation and presentation skills.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic, startup-like environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Effective collaboration with team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Biotech lab equipment experience.
  • Familiarity with security engineering and zero-trust principles.
