Here are the details:

Position: CAD Technician

Location: Greater Boston Area (Hybrid RTO Schedule)

Rate: Negotiable Based on Experience

Duration: 11 months

CAD Technician

This individual will be responsible for creating detailed drawings of material handling equipment, work areas, and material handling components based on current examples as well as design support for future initiatives. Drawings will require a high level of detail in both plan views as well as corresponding elevation views in certain cases. A successful candidate will be self-starter and create drawing sets that will satisfy the need to standardize work spaces and designs across a large network of fulfillment operations, while also exhibiting a learning mindset to expand this skillset to virtual applications.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of operating experience in CAD with the ability to work and manage layers

Minimum of 1 year experience drawing in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment

Basic knowledge of material handling and storage systems

MUST be experienced in an Autodesk product

Understanding of Industrial Sys Flow

Exhibits a learning mindset, asks questions, takes initiative

Preferred:

Revit (Nice to Have - highest priority nice to have))

Python (Nice to Have)

Dynamo Experience (Nice to Have)

BIM360 Management (Nice to Have)

AutoCAD (Nice to Have)

NavisWorks (Nice to Have)

Conveyor design and layout experience

Ability to lead small groups

Industrial systems, HVAC space

Experience with coding software (attention to detail is comparable)

KPI: success in creating virtual maps
