Job Details
Job Description:
- Good product safety testing experience or equivalent.
- Knowledge of basic safety standards, including IEC 60950-1 and 62368-1.
- Proficiency in defining tests, setting up, and working with laboratory tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, dielectric withstand testers, touch current testers, traffic generators, data acquisition systems, calipers, and thermal imaging equipment.
- Experience with safety tests including thermal, input current, capacitor discharge, dielectric withstand, earthing, abnormal operation, component failure, touch current, ball pressure, mold stress relief, and stability tests.
- Ability to read schematics and PCB layouts to identify safety-critical components.
- Proven experience in providing innovative test solutions or automating tests.
- Coordination of product testing and certification with independent listing agencies such as UL, CSA, and Nemko.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organization and time management skills to handle tight schedules.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- BS in Engineering or equivalent.
