Position Description:

Join Fords Supply Chain Analytics team as a Data Scientist and help drive the future of automotive supply chain operations! Youll work with a curious, proactive, and creative team thats critical to Fords success. By leveraging advanced data analytics and the latest tools, youll solve complex business problems, improve operational efficiency, and make data-driven decisions that impact the future of our company. If youre passionate, knowledgeable, and highly motivated, we want you on our team! This is a hybrid position; however, we will consider exceptional remote candidates.

Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer or data science, engineering, statistics, operations research, or other quantitative area
  • Ability to extract actionable insights from data
  • Experience using SQL to extract, clean, and transform data in large, complex, nested databases
  • Experience using programming languages such as Python or R in a cloud platform
  • Experience in research, analysis, data science, or solution development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong intellectual curiosity

Skills Preferred:
  • Experience in statistical analysis and modeling
  • Advanced degree in a related field
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Experience in at least one area of supply chain operations, such as pricing, procurement, spend forecasting, or benchmarking
  • Experience developing and delivering projects in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)

Experience Required:
  • 1+ years of experience as a researcher, analyst, data scientist, or solution developer with one or more of the following analytics tools: R, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, MINITAB, CPLEX, Python, AnyLogic, QlikView, QlikSense, Google Cloud Platform, Hadoop, or SAP OR equivalent college course experience

Experience Preferred:
  • 3+ years of experience as a researcher, analyst, data scientist, or solution developer
  • 3+ years of experience with Python, Alteryx, R, SQL, Tableau, MINITAB, CPLEX, QlikView, QlikSense, Hadoop
  • 3+ years of experience in data mining, statistical analysis, modeling, optimization
  • 1+ years of experience in Google Cloud Platform BigQuery and Vertex AI
  • 3+ years of machine learning experience using Python

Education Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer or data science, engineering, statistics, operations research, or other quantitative area

Education Preferred:
  • Advanced degree in computer or data science, engineering, statistics, operations research, or other quantitative area

Additional Information:
