Pacific Steel & Recycling is currently looking to hire an IT Solutions & Security Engineer on a full-time, permanent basis. This opportunity must be performed onsite in Great Falls, MT. Relocation assistance is available for non-local candidates who are open to relocating.
Title: IT Solutions & Security Engineer
Location: Great Falls, MT
Summary:
This position will have extensive experience in infrastructure management, network and security, and a diverse skill set to support our IT operations and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with user management, including both modern and legacy
- Manage cloud environments, specifically AWS and
- Maintain and support legacy Cisco phone systems
- Implement and manage network security solutions, including Meraki and Cisco
- Monitor and manage VPN connections and ensure secure
- Conduct evidence collection and remediation for security
- Monitor alerts and respond to security
- Implement Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
- Provide vendor support and manage relationships with external
- Lead and manage IT projects from inception to
- Support the IT help desk and provide technical assistance to
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes and systems
- Coordinates with internal resources and vendor for document management system related
- Cooperates with employees, branch personnel, customers, suppliers and others with honesty, integrity, and respectful
- Accepts responsibility for own decisions and
- Performs other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of diverse information technology experience including systems and network administration
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco Certified Network Associate, etc.) nice to have
- In-depth knowledge of network security, including Microsoft, Meraki, Cisco, and VPN technologies. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 products and operating systems.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Excellent vendor support and project management skills.
- Advanced level of understanding and troubleshooting skills with desktop hardware and software.
- Ability to evaluate software and hardware specifications and requirements.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills.
