Job Details
We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Support Specialist with 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT support and infrastructure to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical support, managing escalated IT issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our IT systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide advanced technical support to end-users across hardware, software, networking, and cloud environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.
Administer and maintain systems including Windows/Mac OS, Office 365, Active Directory, and other enterprise applications.
Act as a point of escalation for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across systems.
Monitor system performance and perform regular system maintenance tasks.
Assist with IT infrastructure projects including network upgrades, software rollouts, and cloud migrations.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and incident reports.
Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
Train and mentor junior IT support staff.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of proven experience in IT support or system administration roles.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, networking, and enterprise applications.
Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS preferred).
Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or similar.
Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
Exposure to cybersecurity best practices and tools.
Prior experience in a hybrid or remote work environment.
