Sr Oracle CC and B Interface Developer

We are seeking a skilled Oracle CC&B Interface Developer with over 10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions between Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) and other internal/external systems within the Oracle Utilities suite. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle CC&B, particularly in interface design and implementation using Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF), Web Services, and batch processes.

This role is critical to ensuring seamless data flow between systems and delivering robust, scalable solutions for our enterprise operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF), hands-on experience with SOA, web services, and batch processing, and a solid understanding of utility billing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex interfaces between Oracle CC&B and external/internal systems using Java, XAI, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Lead the integration efforts for enterprise applications, including requirements gathering, system analysis, technical design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Develop and optimize batch processes using Oracle CC&B's batch framework (Zones, BOs, Algorithms, etc.).
• Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize CC&B interfaces and batch processes for performance and reliability.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Maintain documentation for all developed solutions, adhering to SDLC best practices.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated systems.
• Stay current with Oracle Utilities best practices, patches, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5+ years of direct hands-on experience with Oracle CC&B.
• Strong experience with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
• Proficient in Java, Groovy, XML, XAI, XSLT, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• In-depth understanding of CC&B data model, business objects, and batch job configurations.
• Experience with Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with middleware tools such as Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or Mulesoft.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in the Utilities sector (Electric, Water, Gas).
• Oracle Utilities certification(s).
• Exposure to CCS, MDM, WAM, or other Oracle Utility products.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
• Experience working in a cloud environment (OCI, AWS, Azure).
