Infrastructure Engineer

Gratiture Solutions is looking for a technology specialist focused on client infrastructure and technology. This candidate is expected to contribute in developing and monitoring the organization's technology architecture and future technology vision for our end client s infrastructure and technology.

Required Skills

• Experience with client infrastructure and technology is required.
• Extended experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to build/support technical project plans is a hard requirement.
• In the office at least 2-3 times per week (this may increase over time).
• A good understanding of network infrastructure and client connectivity
• Ability to coordinate technical activities with external clients, vendors and internal delivery teams
• Ability to provide status reports to senior stakeholders
• Developing and Delivering presentations
• Good Client facing Skills
• Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops reports in conjunction with the Fellow technologists which demonstrate business opportunities and road map strategies that add business value.
• Drafts proposals on infrastructure needs for client technology activity and supports the creation of executive summaries.
• Works closely with external clients, vendors, internal teams and business partners on large infrastructure engineering projects.
• Provides input and recommends processes in developing project plans. Monitors project progress and provides regular status reports to the management team.
• Works closely with Application Development and Quality Assurance and Testing teams to understand infrastructure needs during the development and testing processes.
• Applies IT expertise in strategizing how to best develop infrastructure that will allow development and testing processes to be secure and efficient.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of the organization's existing infrastructure technology. Stays informed of current industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Researches and analyses trends to recommend and implement upgrades that enhance the reliability and efficiency of the IT infrastructure.
• Automates basic manual processes.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members.
• Contributes to the achievement of multiple teams' objectives.
