Key Responsibilities :.

• Manage and support EDI operations across Retail and Manufacturing business units.
• Lead the integration of automotive EDI messages (e.g., DELJIT, DESADV, INVOIC, Self-Billing Invoice, 830, , 4915, 4905, etc.) with SAP IDocs.
• Configure and maintain partner profiles, OVAI, OVA9, ports, and message types in SAP (WE20, WE21,WE19).
• Design and implement EDI-to-IDoc mappings and transformations using tools like SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, or IBM Sterling Integrator.
• Manage end-to-end onboarding of customers and suppliers, including requirement gathering, testing, and go-live support.
• Lead and manage the EDI support team to ensure timely resolution of issues and seamless data exchange
• Investigate and resolve complex EDI transaction failures, providing guidance and support to the team
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement enhancements to EDI processes
• Develop and maintain documentation for EDI processes and system performance
• Interpret and manage EDI maps (e.g, X12, EDIFACT, or custom formats).
• Troubleshoot EDI issues and recommend improvements.
• Ensure data accuracy, process efficiency, and timely issue resolution.
• Work with customers to understand the business requirements.
• Architecture design for Cleo cloud customers.
• Develop EDI maps and business processes.
• Create communication setups with trading partners for AS2, SFTP.
• Create Unit test plan and perform unit testing.
• Assist with System Integration testing and User Acceptance testing and resolve issues.
• Conduct performance testing for high volume customers and fine tune integrations to achieve desired performance.
• Create support documentation and transition the project to support.
• Create go-live plan and warranty support plan.
• Work effectively with other internal departments to ensure the highest level of support for customers.
• Exhibit a sense of ownership of customer systems and work on issues until completely resolved.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time :
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Create and modify EDI translation maps according to specifications and Verify mapping by performing unit testing and trial runs.
• Prepare documentation, Perform customer EDI and communication setups.
• Team player with good written and verbal Communication skills.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in SAP EDI integration.
• Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience with EDI and SAP IDoc configuration.
• Strong knowledge of automotive EDI standards and message types.
• Proficient in providing EDI mapping and transformation for EDI implementation using tools like Sterling Integrator/Axway, SAP PI/PO, or SAP CPI.
• Familiarity with SAP modules such as SD, MM, and FI.
• Understanding of data formats (XML, flat files) and network protocols.
• Should have sound knowledge on SAP standard report to IDOC monitor for incoming Forecast / JIT Delivery Schedules.
• 12+ years of experience with any of the EDI integration products.
• Strong functional understanding of end-to-end EDI workflows.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in SAP i.e. SAP Customization MM or/and SD, IDOC Monitoring, EDI Integration.
• Knowledge of Order to Cash Process within SAP.
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic global environment
• Better understanding of production related processes i.e. SD, MM
• Ability to do SAP customization in regards with EDI
• Contribute with knowledge exchange in internal SAP technical community & with functional consultants, as and when required
• Extensive experience with Gentran mapping and EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, or XML
• Experience in IBM Sterling integration or Axway
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
• Hands-on experience with Lexicom and communication protocols (VAN, AS2, SFTP).
• Proficiency in writing and debugging SQL queries/scripts (Oracle and SQL Server).
• Experience with EDI mapping standards such as X12, EDIFACT, or custom formats.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good understanding of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards.
• Experience with XML, Flat Files and Spreadsheets.
• Experience with transfer protocols such AS2, FTP/s, SFTP, HTTP/s.
• Experience working with REST API.
• Programming or scripting knowledge (ABAP, Java, Python) is a plus.
• Knowledge of project management in an automotive manufacturing environment is an added advantage

Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
