Description

We are looking for a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Lafayette, Louisiana. In this role, you will work closely with developers and stakeholders to enhance automation tools that streamline billing workflows. This position requires a logical thinker with a technical mindset, capable of translating complex business needs into effective system solutions.

Responsibilities:
Analyze and document existing automation tools used in billing operations to identify areas for improvement.
Develop and apply conditional logic to optimize billing system workflows.
Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to refine automation processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Convert business requirements into technical logic flows and implement efficient solutions.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system rules, workflows, and enhancements.
Support the development team by providing insights and recommendations for improving system functionality.
Ensure automation tools are efficient, scalable, and align with industry best practices.
Conduct regular testing and troubleshooting to validate the functionality of automated workflows.
Provide training or support to end-users regarding the use of enhanced systems.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or related roles.
Familiarity with healthcare billing systems or revenue cycle platforms such as Epic.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems using logic-based approaches.
Experience with scripting or automation tools, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Proficiency in writing and understanding Business Requirements Documents (BRD).
Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and their application in system development.
Ability to create and execute SQL queries for data analysis.
Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
