Role: Syndigo (Riversand) Developer
Location: Great Naperville, IL
Work Arrangement: Hybrid 4 days in office, 1 day remote

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Syndigo (Riversand) Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions on the Syndigo (formerly Riversand) Master Data Management (MDM) and Product Information Management (PIM) platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical expertise in Syndigo s cloud-native MDM/PIM solutions, with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and other developers to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and configure Syndigo (Riversand) MDM/PIM solutions to meet business requirements.
- Implement data models, workflows, validations, and business rules within the Syndigo platform.
- Develop integrations between Syndigo and enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, eCommerce, etc.) using APIs, ETL, or middleware tools.
- Customize user interfaces, dashboards, and reports for business users.
- Work closely with business analysts, data stewards, and product teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform system configurations, upgrades, and testing activities.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Syndigo configurations and integrations.
- Ensure best practices in data governance, data quality, and security within the MDM/PIM framework.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and solution guides.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Syndigo (Riversand) MDM/PIM platform.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and master data management concepts.
- Proficiency in Java, Groovy, JavaScript, XML, JSON, REST/SOAP APIs.
- Experience with ETL tools, middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, etc.), and cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
- Familiarity with workflow design, rule engine configuration, and UI customization in Syndigo.
- Good knowledge of SQL and database design (Oracle, SQL Server, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Syndigo cloud-native SaaS platform (latest versions).
- Exposure to Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), and Master Data Management (MDM) implementations.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data stewardship practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
