Heavy interaction with user community- There is no development in the United States- It is in Taiwan-2 developers from there will report to this person. Minimum of 3 yrs exp of software development management work exp, 8 yrs overall software development exp. Strong project mgmt and change mgmt exp- Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts. Exp in migrating, replacing, integrating and consolidating proprietary systems. Work with users in a requirementsanalysis and documentation role.. The role of the Software eng mgr is to manage the companys proprietary operational and reporting software systems to be a driving force in the growth and success of the business. MUST be HANDS-ON.Exp with data integration via API's- Strong SQL skills in creating stored procedures, functions, views, SQL, scripts , API technologies. Define strategic technical direction for applications, architectures and development processes based on current best practices. Manage the design, development the release of complex technical products through complete project life cycle. Define coding, documentation and development standards in line with modern best practices.
