Job Title: Sr. Oracle Apps/EBS Senior Technical Consultant
Location: Jersey City, NJ.
Job Type: Contract.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Apps/EBS Senior Technical Consultant to join our technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing custom solutions and extensions in the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), with a focus on financial modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payables (AP), and Fixed Assets (FA). The role also includes technical support, system analysis, and ensuring solutions are aligned with business objectives and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and deploy technical components, reports, and extensions for Oracle EBS applications.
- Collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and validate technical requirements.
- Perform end-to-end system design, development, unit testing, and documentation of customizations and interfaces.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Oracle EBS applications and custom components.
- Support implementation and configuration of EBS Financial modules (GL, AP, FA) and workflows.
- Design and develop interfaces between Oracle EBS and external systems using APIs, web services, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Work on conversions, forms, reports, alerts, BI Publisher reports, and workflow customizations.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and data integrity across all EBS environments.
- Participate in full life-cycle Oracle EBS implementation and upgrade projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants or developers as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on technical experience with Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Expertise in Oracle EBS Financial modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payables (AP), Fixed Assets (FA).
- Proficient in PL/SQL, SQL Plus, Oracle Forms/Reports, BI Publisher, Oracle Workflow, and Unix Shell Scripting.
- Solid understanding of Application Object Library (AOL) concepts and Oracle EBS SYSADMIN tasks.
- Experience in AME (Approvals Management Engine) configuration and customization.
- Hands-on experience with EBS APIs, Alerts, and personalization using Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
- Demonstrated experience in at least two full life-cycle Oracle EBS implementations.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and other modern integration platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with Oracle s development standards and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle EBS R12 Technical Consultant) are a plus.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
