Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical, Computer, Systems, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 8 12 years of experience in train control, CBTC, or safety-critical testing environments
Position Summary:
The Test Manager will design, implement, and lead the GLTPS system testbed, combining wayside and car-borne components in a controlled environment to validate system functions before field deployment. This individual will create the Test & Validation Plan, build simulation tools for train movement and signal exchange, and execute test procedures verifying Phase 1 (Operator Warning) and Phase 2 (Automatic Enforcement) functions.
This position requires both hands-on technical expertise and project-level management of test documentation, safety verification, and cross-disciplinary integration.
The candidates should have knowledge in Testbed Design & Development and be well versed with various types of testing like Factory acceptance testing(FAT) , Site Acceptance Testing(SAT) and System Integration Testing(SIT). They should be proficient in test plan & procedures, test execution and result analysis.
Experience in any transportation industry/transit is highly recommended. The candidates should possess knowledge on SCADA systems, Train signaling, PLCs, RFID systems, LiDAR sensors.
