Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Location: Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid)

Employment Type: W2 Only

Duration: 12+ Months

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives from conception to delivery. You will drive software development, system integrations, and infrastructure projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycles for IT initiatives including software development, cloud migrations, and system integrations
  • Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Implement Agile (Scrum/Kanban) or hybrid methodologies tailored to technical projects
  • Lead cross-functional teams of developers, engineers, and business analysts
  • Oversee technical architecture reviews and solution design processes
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows in collaboration with engineering teams
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies
  • Coordinate vendor relationships for third-party integrations and managed services
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and IT governance policies
  • Track and report project progress using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
  • Facilitate requirements gathering between technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement of SDLC processes through retrospectives

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of technical project management experience in IT environments
  • Proven track record managing software development or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
    • Software development methodologies
    • System integration patterns
  • PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience with Salesforce implementations.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale projects with multiple vendors.
  • Experience in public sector or multi-agency environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Technical fluency to understand architectural discussions and challenges
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
