Job Details

Role: Angular Developer with Node JS & React Native

Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months

Must have:

Responsibilities:

Lead the technical delivery, deployment, optimization, and support of mobile and web applications.

Design, develop, and maintain complex components and services across the stack.

Create and perform unit and system tests, troubleshoot defects, and validate fixes.

Mentor and coach developers on best coding practices, design patterns, and technical standards.

Define and enforce coding standards, architecture guidelines, and performance benchmarks.

Collaborate with architects and IT leadership to define technical runways for future capabilities.

Diagnose and resolve application performance and scalability issues.

Review and evaluate change requests for impact, feasibility, and alignment with project goals.

Take a proactive approach to identify and deliver strategic technical solutions in a complex IT environment.

Document functional and technical requirements, design specifications, and test plans.

Build and maintain strong partnerships with business users to understand and translate requirements.

Partner with cross-functional IT teams to support system integrations and successful deployments.

Participate in on-call support, resolving application issues promptly.

Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

5 8 years of experience in full stack development with leadership responsibilities.

Proven expertise in:

    • Angular 7.0+ (AngularJS or modern Angular frameworks)
    • React Native (mobile app development)
    • Node.js (backend development)

Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services (both consuming and creating).

Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related front-end technologies.

Hands-on experience with API integration, caching, and performance optimization.

Deep understanding of Angular best practices, component-based design, and reusable modules.

Ability to implement SEO solutions for single-page applications.

Familiarity with platform architecture, database interaction, and web security principles.

Experience with multi-threading, asynchronous programming, and writing non-blocking code.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Proven ability to work effectively in agile/scrum environments and collaborate with distributed teams.

Preferred:

Experience in Healthcare domain projects or compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA).

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
