Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL Server Developer to join our Data Platform team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and optimizing data pipelines, developing data architectures, and ensuring data reliability and scalability across multiple platforms. This role requires a self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys supporting cross-functional teams with complex data needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and workflows for data acquisition and ingestion from diverse sources (SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Hadoop/Hive, Google Cloud Platform, flat files, Snowflake).

  • Develop and maintain ETL processes using tools such as SSIS and Alteryx.

  • Create and optimize data models to support business applications and analytics.

  • Define and implement data architecture frameworks, standards, and principles including metadata, security, and reference data management.

  • Enhance data reliability, efficiency, and quality using advanced data solution techniques.

  • Automate workflows to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

  • Review and enhance modifications of existing data systems for cross-compatibility.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years SQL Server development experience.

  • 5+ years ETL development experience.

  • 5+ years data modeling experience.

  • 5+ years experience across multiple database technologies (SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle).

  • 2+ years experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Snowflake).

  • 1+ years Python scripting experience.

  • Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts and implementation.
