Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Pediatrics
Location: Peridot, AZ - Onsite

Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive therapy services to pediatric patients. This role is split between clinic and school-based settings and involves the assessment and treatment of children with speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing disorders.
Worksite Distribution:
- SLP Clinic Time:
- Wednesday: 1:00 PM 4:30 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
- School Time:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
- Wednesday mornings (schools follow a half-day schedule)
The SLP will treat students in pre-K, primary, intermediate, middle, and high school, including self-contained classrooms.
Requirements:
- Master s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
- Minimum 2 years of recent, relevant pediatric and school-based SLP experience
- Active SLP license (state-specific, if required)
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and treatment planning.
- Assess communication skills (e.g., articulation, fluency, voice, language).
- Document evaluations and therapy outcomes in medical records per policy.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Instruct patients/families in speech-language pathology care and exercises.
- Monitor and document progress throughout therapy.
- Provide education to staff, patients, and families.
- Manage scheduling and participate in departmental meetings.
- Contribute to program development and community engagement.
- Assist with writing department policies, procedures, and quality programs.
- Maintain equipment and materials for the rehab department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and disorders of speech/hearing.
- Proficiency in therapy documentation, evaluation tools, and treatment techniques.
- Ability to translate clinical data into educational interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and organizational ability.
- Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office, EMR systems, basic troubleshooting.
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Must have a record of satisfactory performance in prior roles, supported by references.
