THE WORK
Seeking highly energetic candidates to fill an Associate Field Sustainment Engineer (FSE) position supporting the CASS/eCASS Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) in Orlando, Florida.
As an integral part of a highly valued Field Engineering team, your duties will include:
- Perform annual performance verification testing for the CASS product line. Troubleshoot and repair station asset failures. Remove and/or install stations at the customer site, and perform other tasks as directed by program management.
- Create and maintain all performance and maintenance records within the Automated Depot Information System (ADIS) database in a timely and accurate manner. Uses ADIS to order, receive and ship CASS assets from and to the Depot in LM-RMS, Orlando, FL.
- Be accountable in the control and maintenance of all provided system test kit materials to include cables and adapters. In addition, proper handling and calibration/maintenance of all required support equipment needed to perform the job.
- Be a proactive, energetic, and contributing Team Member as well as have the ability to work independently of others.
- Work will be performed under general
supervision; it will be reviewed for soundness of technical judgement and overall adequacy.
- Must be able to effectively utilize technical and engineering data to perform problem analysis and troubleshooting to the lowest applicable hardware level to restore normal operational availability.
- Job may require flexible work schedule to provide coverage for on-site customer requirements; may be required to work either first or second shift as needed.
- Be aware of the processes and procedures involved with handling of classified assets to and from secure lab locations and execution in accordance with local declassification procedures for those assets.
- Candidate must be willing to travel to support other CASS/eCASS locations in the United States and overseas as needed, often with minimal advance notice.

Basic Qualifications
Proficient computer skills, particularly with troubleshooting both computer hardware and software failures and to execute software rebuild procedures.
Be able to physically handle up to 45 pounds in removing/installing assets in the CASS Test Station, Interface Test Adapters (ITAs), and Support Equipment.
- Experience using engineering drawings and technical data. Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish positive relationships among team members, peers, customers, and management. Flexible, team-player with ability to work high volume and multi-task activities within assigned time constraints.
- Comfortable with change and willingness to adapt to change.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with very general supervision.
Proficient using MS Office Software including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook.

Desired skills
- Field Engineer with prior experience in the area of Electronics Technician, use of CASS drawings, parts list and schematic diagrams to troubleshoot returned goods, complex assemblies, circuit cards (assets), to the component level when/as required, on legacy FoT (Family of Testers) company delivered hardware.
- Automated Test Equipment maintenance or test integration knowledge and experience desired to
include CASS/RTCASS/eCASS from the US Navy, US Marine Corps, or civilian professional environment, or LM-Star Test Stations.
- Understanding of Automatic Test Systems (ATS) and functional interaction between Operating System software, Test Program Set (TPS) software and hardware, and test system hardware.
- Experience with execution of CASS Self-Maintenance (SMAT) test routines and maintenance troubleshooting abilities
