Title: Senior Full Stack .NET Developer Capital Markets / Investment Banking | NYC (Hybrid)

Location: Midtown NYC (Hybrid 3 days onsite per week)

Duration: 1 Year Contract

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer (10+ years) with recent experience in Capital Markets or Investment Banking. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET, C#, JavaScript, and Azure, and exceptional communication skills (must be 9/10 or higher).

This position involves designing and developing cloud-native applications and modern, data-driven web platforms for valuation and asset management systems.

Key Requirements:

10+ years of professional full-stack development experience
Strong background in Capital Markets / Investment Banking
Expertise in .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, ADO.NET, LINQ, Entity Framework, Dapper
Cloud experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Event Hub, API Management, Azure Storage, Key Vault, AD Authentication)
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Bootstrap, AJAX, XML/JSON, REST API
Hands-on experience with Angular, DevExpress, AG Grid, or similar UI libraries
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be local to NY/NJ area

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native microservices and APIs using Microsoft technologies.
  • Build responsive, data-driven web applications leveraging Angular, TypeScript, and Bootstrap.
  • Collaborate closely with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Implement and execute unit testing (NUnit, XUnit, Moq) and frontend testing (Jasmine, Karma).
  • Contribute to architecture decisions, reusable components, and development best practices.
  • Work within Azure DevOps / Agile (Scrum) framework for delivery and tracking.
