Remote/Onsite: This will be a full onsite position at our Dover, DE manufacturing plant. Need to be mobile and active. No travel required.
Hours/Schedule: This will be for a Monday-Friday - 8-5 (1 hr lunch break)
*interacting with technical people, plant directors, teammates, manufacturing workers.
*No degrees or certifications required.
Ideal candidate:
1. Desktop support onsite experience
2. Past experience in manufacturing, is a huge plus.
3. Minimum 2-3+ on similar onsite environment
4. Softwares: Windows 11, office 365, ServiceNow (a plus), management tools.
5. Experience with Troubleshooting networks, servers, comfort with equipment.
6.. Strong communication skills.
7. Hard working person, hands on.
Description (Top Requirements):
- Must have experience supporting Microsoft Office 365, Windows 11 OS in an onsite support role
- Experience supporting these applications are a plus - ServiceNow, SAP, MII, SolidWorks, and AutoCad
- Experience supporting RF scanners & Zebra printers are a plus
-Experience working with SOTI is a plus
- Must have at least 2-3+ years of experience providing end user support in person - Ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be confident in troubleshooting and setting up any and all IT related equipment in Manufacturing plant
- Must have very strong communication skills - will interact with and assist with all levels of employees.
Position Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to continue to develop and leverage your analytical skills. This position will have an opportunity to improve the ITSM support organization. The Analyst will be responsible for supporting our end users and keeping a strong focus on maintaining support processes. Our expectations are that this individual will identify and remediate support trends on an ongoing basis. This position will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the global peer team members and key business customers while implementing the Global Technology Services strategy.
Specific Accountabilities
Track, support, and remediate problems, requests, and document resolutions
Identifies, analyzes and interprets both technical and business opportunities
Install, Move, Add, and Change pc hardware, software, network printers, and conference equipment
Acts as change agent to implement and communicate change
Stay current with latest system information, changes and updates
Develop an analysis of problem trend reports for locations they support
Audio Visual Support
Maintain spare parts inventory
PC Disposal
Smarthands support network and server teams
