Pay Range: $75 - $76/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key Skills: Network Infrastructure , Design , Cisco Products , Routing & Switching , Network Protocols, VPN Technologies
  • Strong understanding of core networking concepts:
  • TCP/IP, routing, switching, subnetting
  • Routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP
  • VLANs, STP, trunking (802.1Q)
  • Cisco Networking Products Experience:
  • Hands-on with Cisco routers, switches, Nexus, ASR platforms
  • Cisco IOS / NX-OS configuration and troubleshooting
  • Firewall & Security Technologies:
  • Experience with Cisco ASA or Palo Alto firewalls
  • Understanding of ACLs, VPNs (IPSec, DMVPN), NAT, and security zones
  • Data Center Networking:
  • Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) understanding of architecture, policies, and design principles
  • OTV (Overlay Transport Virtualization) familiarity is a plus, but knowing ACI is clearly essential
  • WAN/LAN Design & Troubleshooting:
  • Experience with private/public WAN circuits and LAN switching environments
  • Network Documentation:
  • Creating network diagrams, configuration standards, and technical documentation
  • Agile Environment Experience:
  • Comfortable working in a team-based, Agile engineering setup
  • Education / Experience:
  • Bachelor s degree with 5 years in IT (or 10 years experience without a degree)
  • Minimum 4 5 years working with Cisco systems products
  • Strong communication (written & verbal) ability to explain complex networking concepts clearly
  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Organizational skills: manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Collaboration: ability to work across IT teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
  • Cisco Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CCDA, CCDP
  • ACI Deep Expertise: Design, deployment, and optimization of ACI fabrics
  • Network Automation & Scripting:
  • Python, Ansible, RESTful APIs, JSON/XML, EEM scripting
  • Shell scripting for automating configuration and monitoring tasks
  • Wireless Networking:
  • Cisco Wireless Controllers, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac
  • QoS & Voice (VOIP):
  • Understanding QoS for voice/video and experience with SIP, telephony, or collaboration systems
  • Monitoring & Management:
  • SNMP, Syslog, NetFlow, RADITACACS
  • Experience with Opengear Terminal Servers, Panorama (for Palo Alto), and DNA Center
  • Cloud / Virtualization / Datacenter:
  • Experience with virtualization or hybrid cloud networking
  • SCADA Network Design: (specific to some industries like energy/utilities)
  • Disaster Recovery & High Availability Design:
  • Redundancy, fault tolerance, performance tuning
  • Agile / Scrum certifications: Scrum Master, Kanban Management Professional
  • Experience working in process-oriented, compliance-driven environments (change management, documentation, etc.)
