Job Title: Project Manager Web & Mobile Applications
Location: Washington, DC (onsite as required for meetings, otherwise remote).
Role Overview:
Responsible for managing the development, integration, testing, and deployment of SmarTrip backend components supporting CLIENT s website modernization and related mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee project execution for SmarTrip backend system and dependencies.
- Coordinate technical project deliverables and timeline with internal and external teams.
- Plan, design, and implement backend solutions for web and mobile integrations.
- Develop project schedules and maintain status reporting using MS Project.
- Track tasks, deliverables, and proactively resolve technical and operational issues.
- Apply Agile methodologies and utilize tools such as JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, Bamboo, and Bitbucket.
- Support application configuration, code integration, and deployment to production environments.
- Review system hardening and vulnerability remediation tasks.
- Oversee mandatory peer code reviews in Bitbucket before code merges.
- Ensure secure coding and documentation practices.
Technical Requirements
- Experience in managing web and mobile application development projects, including backend integrations.
- Proficiency with Agile development lifecycle and related tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).
- Hands-on experience with backend development, testing, and deployment in cloud or enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of modern web and mobile technologies (iOS, Android platforms preferred).
- Familiarity with code review processes and tools (Bitbucket).
- Bachelor s degree required.
- Minimum 2 years of IT operations project management and 3 years of Agile web app project leadership.
- Minimum 5 years hands-on in software/application project delivery.
