Clinical Data - AI ML - SW Engineer

Introduction:

As a Clinical Data - AI ML - SW Engineer, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Clinical Data to develop software solutions that enhance healthcare technologies. Your role will involve working with cloud data warehousing platforms, implementing chatbots, integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into applications, and leveraging NLP technologies to analyze clinical text.

Responsibilities:

• Experience with cloud data warehousing / analytics platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Knowledge of system administration, particularly with Linux.
• Experience with security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Strong incident management and root cause analysis skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) and modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake).
• Implement chatbots, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, and integrate LLMs into applications (AI-assisted automation).

• Experience implementing chatbots, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, and integrating LLMs into applications (AI-assisted automation).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Huggingface, Langchain, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Experience with microservices architecture and managing distributed systems.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and security scanning tools.
• Experience with database administration and management, including performance tuning, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization strategies, performance engineering, and application optimization.
• Experience with test automation e.g. Playwright.
• Familiarity with CRDT technologies like Yjs.
• Experience with using NLP/LLMs on clinical text.
• Basic knowledge of clinical drug development.
